| Born 30th November 1939 and raised in Kensington London W.11 By the late teens an interest in the "unexplained" had been awakened. At a teenage Ouija session with serious friends a message arrived bearing the solemn command "Bow down and worship me - Thoth". None of us earnest enquirers had ever heard the name before. The reference library supplied an answer, revealing him to be "Ancient Egyptian God of Wisdom, Magic & Healing" as well as attributing to him the invention of writing, mathematics, astronomy, alchemy etc... Attempting to follow Thoth's command I cast my eye over various groups, starting with the Spiritualist Association, followed by the Theosophical Society, the Anthroposophical Society, the teachings of George Gurdjieff via P.D.Ouspensky, before arriving at the writings of Dion Fortune (1890-1946). She introduced me to the Western Esoteric Tradition which largely based its teachings & practices on Hermetic Philosophy & Magic (plus the Judaic Qabalah). I had thus arrived back at Thoth, Hermes and Hermes Trismegistus. Not feeling comfortable in any of the above movements, and having no spare cash, I returned to a more "normal" working life for the next 40 years, mainly in teaching and classic & collectors' cars. A small inheritance in 2004 gave me space to enquire of Olivia, a veteran psychic specialising in future readings, how I would be best advised to use the windfall. She unhesitatingly informed me that Healing should be my route and mission. Her description of the future was so all-embracing and over the top that I could ignore it no longer. I swiftly devised a method of contacting my Inner Guide, using my facility with the Pendulum, and embarked on seeing what success I could achieve with family and friends. To bring me more up to date I spent 2 weekends with the Spirit Release Foundation in Malvern and a further weekend in Sussex with Beech Hill College's Julie Rocka. Both visits were illuminating. In February 2006 I consulted David Ashworth (www.davidashworth.com) as to my readiness to perform healing and allied arts at a high level. He ended a 45-minute inner survey by saying that it appeared I was "a chosen one". He encountered such candidates up to 4 times in a year. My doubts and apprehensions were banished !
